Construction Defects: What You Need to Know to Stay Out of Trouble
John Markarian, an experienced construction defect consultant and one of eight founding RERA members, will be speaking on this topic at the June Forum.
Building to code doesn’t guarantee that the project will meet industry standards nor that it will be free of construction defects. Call-backs are expensive, litigation is even worse, and no one wants an unhappy customer. So what can be done to prevent these situations?
John’s presentation will include:
• Common mistakes which lead to moisture intrusion and stucco failure.
• How to access resources which provide authoritative industry standards.
• How to communicate more effectively with customers to avoid disputes.
• Case histories, overview of construction consulting, and more.
